Overview: Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Foodservice Director to manage the foodservice program in a single site, ensuring food quality standards, inventory levels, and customer service expectations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Manage foodservice program, provide leadership and support, and ensure quality dining services are provided.
- Maintain records of income, expenditures, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
- Train and in-service staff to meet HCSG standards, including performing essential job functions to train and assist during call-outs.
- Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
- Utilize protective gear and follow safety guidelines.
- Ensure sanitation and infection control procedures are followed.
- Demonstrate positive attitude, leadership skills, and specialized training in foodservice management and nutrition.
- Complete reports, maintain records, and comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
- Specialized training in foodservice management and nutrition required.
- Certified Dietary Manager course participant or certification required.
- Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision desired.
- Basic computer skills and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products and live in the service area.
