This position reports to Sales Manager, Force Measurement.

Your role and responsibilities

Develop and increase sales of Force Measurement (FM) in assigned territories.

Collaborate with engineering team to develop customized solutions for FM products.

Travel 50 to 70 percent in assigned territory for customer visits and presentations.

Collaborate with other departments to prepare bids, gather technical specifications and ensure financial accuracy.

Work with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities.

Understand the customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions.

Monitor customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent job experience.
• 2 plus years of experience in sales, sales support, maintenance or operations.
• Knowledge or understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment; understanding of automation or process control in either the Paper or Metals market is a plus.
• The proven ability to develop and manage customer accounts.
• A team-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
