The Uftring Auto Group consists of eleven automotive franchises at six car dealerships in Peoria, East Peoria, Washington and North Pekin, Illinois. Responsibilities
  • Determine work requested on repair orders
  • Perform repairs and document them
  • Road test vehicles to quality check
  • Maintain CSI levels established by manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Keep abreast of manufacturers training
  • Operate and test equipment, hoist, and hand tools
  • Maintain a clean work area by OSHA and dealership service safety standards
Qualifications
  • Experience as a line technician at a major manufacturer
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • ASE Certification is preferred
  • Diesel experience is a plus
  • General mechanical skills with knowledge of all aspects of automobile repair and maintenance
  • Good judgment, ability to operate power and hand tools
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Hours
  • Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
  • Every 3rd Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
