Develop, analyze and load standard product forecast on a monthly basis utilizing statistical models as well as feedback from sales personnel. This forecast is the basis for the company's demand and material plan and is used to feed the monthly Factory S&OP process. Demand forecasting responsibilities will take about 40% of the analyst's time with the balance being spent performing Supply Chain Analyst duties. As an SC Analyst, the primary responsibility is to manage and maintain inventory parameters to maximize service and optimize inventory. Additionally, this role will be vital in building and identifying new reporting and analysis opportunities. KPI's for this combined position include Forecast Accuracy, Monthly Service & Availability Percentage, and Global Inventory Builds & Budgets.

Responsibilities

Forecast Analyst

    Maintain entirety of forecast related system functions and master data in SAP & ForecastPro for all forecasted sites
  • Continually monitor and maintain forecast accuracy through improvements and updates to the forecasting process/model
  • Constant collaboration with Global Sales Representatives on key customer and OEM forecasts at the material level. Collect, maintain and compare these customer driven forecasts to actual demand for quick response adjustments
  • Responsible for the standard-product monthly forecast load into & removal out of SAP
  • Responsible for managing certain key customer SAP forecasts on behalf of other EO Sales Sites per customer contracts
  • Collaborate with Product Line Managers (PLMs), Buyers and Inventory Management regarding marketing/sales promotions and strategies to be reflected in particular month's forecast
  • Communicate major forecast changes to manager, department, and VP of Supply Chain
  • Develop Excel, Power BI, & SQL modeling tools & reporting as needed

Supply Chain Analyst

  • Use software (ION) to analyze and set inventory parameters to assigned materials, with goal to maximize service and minimize inventory
  • Identify, improve, and develop supply chain reporting to best serve company goals
  • Maintain Min Lot Size and other MRP parameters (Annual & Semi Annual ABC analysis)
  • Develop proficient understanding of SAP functionality as it pertains to both roles
  • Ownership of the End of Life (EOL) process for all standard products and the SAP master data behind it, which requires communication and collaboration with PLMs, Buyers, and Sales/Customer Service Reps
  • Responsible for identifying obsolete, surplus, or slow-moving stock to proactively work with cross functional team to determine appropriate action.
  • Other analytical tasks & projects assigned by Management as needed
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with ForecastPro and SAP ECC 6.0 forecasting functions preferred
  • Proficiency in Forecasting and Inventory Planning terminology required. Supply Chain degree or certification a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills a must: Excel; Pivot tables, PowerPivot
  • PowerBI and SQL experience a plus
  • Must have analysis and problem-solving skills such as the ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution with great attention to detail in addition to data management
  • Be motivated and a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize time effectively and work with little supervision
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residence required

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; minimum of four (4) years of forecasting, analytical, or equivalent work experience.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and operate office equipment such as a copier; ability to see details at a close range; ability to sit at desk or PC for long periods of time; ability to travel; work in office setting.
