STEM HS Foreign Language TeacherTake the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.Beginning 9/1/24 - Questar III BOCES is seeking a Foreign Language Teacher for our STEM High School program located on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. This position will be collaborating with other teachers to develop and deliver project-based learning in cross-curricular lessons with an emphasis on STEM. Innovative teachers with experience teaching college level foreign language courses are ideal candidates. Candidates that have experience working with technology are also encouraged to apply. STEM HS will be entering its fourth year of operation in the Fall of 2024 and serves high school students throughout the Capital Region. Students earn their high school diploma while also working toward earning their Associates degree in a STEM field from HVCC. This school is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem-solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals and exposing students to 21st century skills. NYS teacher certification in Spanish or Chinese preferred, though any valid language certification will be considered.
