As an Electrical Foreman with the Construction Trades team, you will have the opportunity to work on all phases of commercial construction: Skills in all areas of electrical are not necessarily required, but the job can and will involve a variety of electrical disciplines and a strong candidate will be able to perform a variety of electrical tasks from distribution power, lighting, and control panels. Responsibilities
- Utilize management software to maintain schedules, work requests, RFIs, and daily reports for multiple crews and scopes
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities while ensuring adequate manpower and resources
- Review and plan for appropriate equipment and materials for projects
- Weekly review of the project schedule, addressing delays, changes, or deficiencies with the Project Management Team
- Lead by example, championing professionalism and encouraging teams to achieve Tesla excellence
- Assist with innovative problem-solving, particularly in Design Assist or Design Build projects
- Manage and track tools, materials, equipment, and manpower, accurately forecasting manpower needs to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements - Minimum of 5+ years of electrical experience in industrial or commercial settings, with at least one year in a leadership role
- Must have an OSHA 30 certification or be willing to obtain it within the first 90 days
- Proficient with hand tools, electrical meters, testing equipment, and the National Electric Code Book, with experience handling voltages up to 480 VAC
- Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics, install equipment, modify circuits, and create parts lists and work plans from drawings or field walks
- Capable of producing as-built drawings, testing and commissioning work per Tesla procedures, and complying with building department codes
- Strong knowledge of job site safety, able to identify electrical hazards, and perform pre-work task planning focused on safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and ability to work independently or in teams, with desirable qualifications such as using hydraulic/electric benders, wire pulling, and medium voltage experience up to 35KV
