Job Title: Foreman Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of skilled workers to ensure project goals are met safely, on time, and within budget.
- Project Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring all equipment and personnel are performing effectively.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets Ridgeline's high standards for quality, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, crew members, and clients to address project needs and resolve issues as they arise.
- Training: Mentor and train less experienced team members, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot on-site challenges and develop efficient solutions while keeping projects on track.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in excavation or heavy civil construction.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and other construction documents.
- Knowledge of excavation, grading, utilities, and snowplowing operations.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL preferred).
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
- Operation: Operate various heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, graders, loaders, etc.) in support of excavation, grading, utilities, and snow removal operations.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites for excavation, grading, or construction, ensuring proper grading and alignment per project specifications.
- Safety: Maintain a strong commitment to safety by adhering to company safety policies, operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner, and performing pre-operation checks.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to keep machinery in good working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the Foreman and crew members to coordinate job tasks and ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in excavation, grading, or civil construction.
- Strong understanding of excavation and grading principles.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of construction equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL preferred).
- OSHA certification or other safety training is a plus.
