Where You Belong.Job Summary The Golf Course Maintenance Foreman is responsible for assisting in the operating functions of the Golf Course Maintenance Department. The operating functions include: Turfgrasses/plant material maintenance programs, property/asset management, budgeting, forecasting, financial management, scheduling daily maintenance programs and scheduling of irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings, and compliance of regulatory issues.   • Assist Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in providing agronomic direction for the healthy growth of the golf course & Clubhouse Grounds grasses, trees, and other plant materials
  • Supervise the application and recording of chemical applications on the Club's grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Supervise the safe use and maintenance of the golf course mechanical equipment by employees
  • Insure staff is working within OSHA, Club safety, state and federal guidelines for safe working conditions
  • Provide technical, operational, and safety training for employees
  • Fills in to perform all functions and routine golf course maintenance activities as needed or as directed by Golf Course Superintendent
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond the normal day duties when the need calls for it, working long and sometimes odd hours
  • Filling in for Superintendent when needed
About You
  • 1-5 years in Golf Course Maintenance.
  • Preferred 2-year degree in Agronomy/Horticulture field.
  • Required Pesticide Applicators license within 3 months.
  • Valid Drivers license.
