Supervise, coordinate, or assist the activities of workers based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.```{=html}``` 3. Train and help workers in repair or construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.```{=html}``` 4. Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.```{=html}``` 5. Confer with General Foreman or Superintendent, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.```{=html}``` 6. Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.```{=html}``` 7. Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and yard sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.```{=html}``` 8. Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery.```{=html}``` 9. Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.```{=html}``` 10. Responsible for assigned crew time sheets and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).```{=html}``` 11. Must be able to read/interpret blueprints, ISO drawings and layouts. (In craft fields of fitter, welder, machinist, paint and electrical)```{=html}``` 12. Examine tasks to determine priorities.```{=html}``` 13. Provide list of materials and services needed for each task.Required Education and Experience:High School Diploma and/or one year certificate from college or technical school preferred.```{=html}``` 2. Industrial and/or marine journeyman experience, along with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience preferred.Working Conditions:Open-air conditions such as noisy, hot, cold, etc.```{=html}``` 2. Must wear hearing, eye, head protection and proper PPE.```{=html}``` 3. Some climbing (100 feet) and lifting (50 lbs.) involved.```{=html}``` 4. Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights while wearing fall prevention equipment.```{=html}``` 5. Working with hot and sometimes hazardous materials.```{=html}``` 6. Aboard ships, both on and offshore as well as confined spaces.Necessary Equipment Operation:Office equipment, including telephone, scanner, computer, printer.Special Skills:Ability to work under deadlines and schedule pressures.```{=html}``` 2. Strong Organizational skills```{=html}``` 3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and technical manuals.```{=html}``` 4. Perform basic mathematical functions.```{=html}``` 5.
