Today we operate 9 galvanizing plants in the U.S. featuring exceptional service to small fabricators as well as companies known worldwide. We are currently searching for an outstanding individual for our Foreman position at V&S Detroit Galvanizing located in Redford, MI.Responsibilities:
- Open and close production areas
- Prioritize work orders
- Approves hours worked for all employees within their shift
- Maintain a safe workplace
- Coordinate manpower between work stations
- Supervise stations for quality and accuracy
- Responsible for reporting injuries
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years relevant experience
- Knowledge of the steel industry
- Knowledge of protective coating
- Willingness to learn our industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
