Summary:A construction company in the petroleum industry is looking to hire a Foreman based out of Jacksonville, FL. This position will be responsible for overseeing commercial gas station projects. Duties include leading a construction crew, operating heavy equipment, installing sheet piling, underground tanks, fuel piping and dispensers, shooting grades, site layout and training laborers on all related tasks.Responsibilities:* Establishing a benchmark, laying out the tank hole according to petroleum drawings * Installing shoring/dewatering systems * Digging tank holes with excavator and setting tanks in the hole with assistance from crane operator* Outfitting the tanks with tank sump bottoms, STP s, Risers, and Fill/Vapor buckets according to grad as established on the petroleum drawings* Establishing elevations for the piping trenches and layout piping trenches according to the petroleum drawings* Installing underground piping systems with applicable fittings and Tank/Dispenser Sumps according to grade established on the petroleum drawings* Reading blueprints/establishing elevations* Leading a crew effectively by training, coaching, solving problems when identifiedJob RequirementsMinimum Requirements:* 2+ years of Construction Foreman experience working on Underground Tank and Piping Installations * Experience utilizing shoring and dewatering systems* Extensive experience operating heavy equipment* Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a construction truck and tow small trailers when needed* Must have a clean driving record* Ability to shoot grades* Ability to read blueprints and build to specPreferred:* 2+ years of Construction Foreman experience working on Petroleum Tank, Piping, and Dispenser installations* Knowledge of the 4-phase installation process
