ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervises Utilities crew while performing duties of an Operator and/or Laborer.
- Organizes, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established timeframe following established guidelines and requirements.
- Reads and follows plans for digs and installation.
- Enforces and monitors all safety processes and procedures.
- Completes all necessary paperwork related to the job, including DOT and safety documentation, employees' timecards, and other required documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Operator or Laborer and 0-3 years of experience in a Crew Leader, Foreman, or similar supervisory role.
- Familiarity with Utilities Restoration.
- Ability to read and understand plans and blue prints required.
- Possesses a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Must have a Class A CDL.
- Possesses a willingness to travel.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT This position works outdoors in various weather conditions that are not deemed unworkable (i.e. negative degree weather, excessive heat, rain, wind, etc.).
