Architect Opportunity with a Growing Forensic Investigation Firm

Location: Remote

About the Role: Metric Geo is representing a dynamic and rapidly expanding forensic investigation firm in their search for an experienced Architect. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that values expertise in architectural design and forensic analysis, particularly in high-rise structures. If you have a solid background in the preparation and analysis of construction documents, and a passion for consulting on construction defect claims, this role could be a perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of contract documents, ensuring adherence to industry standards and building codes.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews on construction documents, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and compliance documents.
  • Act as a consultant on construction defect claims, litigation, and premises liability cases, providing expert opinions on construction methodologies and standards of care.
  • Analyze and evaluate detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents to solve complex design problems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and high-quality results for clients.

What You Bring:

  • Extensive experience in architectural design and analysis, with a focus on forensic investigation and high-rise projects.
  • Proficient in preparing architectural drawings, details, manufacturer requirements, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
  • Strong background in supporting the construction administration phase of projects and preparing detailed engineering reports.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in structural design and forensic analysis.
  • Registered Architect in the relevant state, with NCARB Certification or eligibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the state, with potential for regional assignments.
