We are seeking a full-time Forensic Restoration Counselor to join our Mobile Competency Restoration Team around the Slippery Rock, PA, Lyndora, PA, and other areas.Must be flexible with travel.Mileage reimbursement offered.Earn $19.24/hour.Position DetailsThe Mobile Competency Forensic Restoration Counselor carries out the treatment plan developed by the behavior educator and provides updates and information to the MCR team members concerning each individual's progress toward regaining competency. The restoration counselor is responsible for providing consistent services to individuals served, assisting in coordination of discharge, and post-treatment services. The role will see candidates meeting clients in the community (i.e., county jails, various community-based locations, wherever client need lies within 10 counties).The Forensic Counselor performs initial intakes upon assignment from supervisor/director and provides up-to-date information during participant meetings and collects data for treatment plans and updates. This role will complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, quickly establish treatment relationships with the individuals being served, and provide coordination with other service delivery systems as appropriate for treatment. They will participate in internal and external trainings and maintain professional relationships that align with the expectations of the criminal justice system.
