- Timber Sales: Oversee all aspects from reconnaissance to reforestation planning.
- Contract Administration: Monitor and ensure compliance with logging contracts.
- Forest Inventory: Conduct compartment and stand-level forest assessments.
- Forest Health: Monitor and maintain forest vitality.
- Planning: Assist in creating land, forest, and resource management plans.
- Customer Service: Address public inquiries regarding forestry and recreation.
- Collaboration: Work with state, federal, and other agencies on forest management initiatives.
- Recreation & Wildlife: Help in planning and developing recreational areas and wildlife habitats.
- Maintenance: Support the upkeep of department facilities and equipment.
- Wildfire Management: Assist in wildfire suppression and prescribed burning.
