Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements. Seneca Foods in Glencoe, MN is currently seeking a Forklift Driver/Custodian to join our team. Responsibilities: • Primary responsibility will be to work as a custodian in the Distribution area. Duties include cleaning restrooms, mopping floors, running the sweeper and scrubber, maintaining the Master Sanitation Schedule and other janitorial duties • Secondary responsibility will be to load and unload brite stacked and finished canned products in trucks and railcars using forklift • Must use electronic scanners or document all pertinent information to ensure trace/recall inventory accuracy • This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor • Duties also include unloading and loading empty cans, packaging materials, dunnage and other duties as assigned • Other duties include H-Lots, and labeling when needed • Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety rules/ regulations are being followed and enforced • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Must have good attention to detail and accuracy • Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally • Must have a good attendance record We strive to attract and maintain a workforce that enriches our team experience and supports our shared vision for the future.
