This creed has stood the test of time and created the strong foundation that support our distinguished reputation in the industry.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Able to operate a fork lift truck as assignedPull, build & load lumber for deliveryRemove material from vendor trucks safelyHelp maintain cleanliness of the lumber yardMaintain proper records for assigned fork lift truckHelp customers in the lumber yard with loading and unloading of their vehicleMaintain proper certification for fork lift truck operatorAssist with inventory and verify computations against physical count of stockOther duties as requested, directed or assigned.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:Previous lumber or building supplies experience strongly desired.High school diploma or GED preferred.1-2 years of experience operating a forklift desired.Fork Lift Truck Operator certification required.Excellent communication skills are required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The position could involve standing, walking, reaching, lifting, bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling and sitting for long periods of time throughout the day.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Exposed to cold weather in the winter and hot weather in the summer.Salary Description$20.00 - $25.00 per hour with benefits
