Ensure you have access to a valid email address.Qualified applicants will receive a phone call to schedule an onsite interviewPost-Offer background check and drug screen requiredJob Summary:Responsible for staging, loading, and unloading finished product and raw materials as well as, stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory.Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate all Material Handling Equipment and perform the necessary safety checks prior to operatingAlways maintain food safety awareness and immediately report any issues to managementReceive material in from vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptlyVerify the quantity, lot, and description of materials received by checking against the packing list and/or Bill of Lading (report/record any discrepancies)Perform all necessary inspections and verificationsCorrectly attach identifying tag or labels to materials as neededSafely and accurately place materials on shelves, in racks, or other designated storage areas to maintain the identity of preserved food, FIFO picking philosophy, and orderlinessMake all necessary transactions within S4 Hana to ensure inventory accuracy and lot control is always maintainedComprehend the reading of shipping & receiving documents, gauges, schedules, and dispatchesAccurate and timely staging of finished goods and raw materials and loading of materials onto containers, trailers, vans, and/or carsMove materials in and out of storage safely and without damageCheck shipping documents for accuracy prior to making copies for the driverClean and maintain work area per the daily checklist and master sanitation schedule (MSS).Provide on-the-job training to new employeesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Forklift certification, M.H.E. CertificationRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to read, write and comprehend EnglishBasic reading, writing and arithmetic skills requiredHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious forklift experience- Sit down (2 years preferred)Manual dexterity required for operating machineryAbility to lift up to 50 pounds required#J-18808-Ljbffr
