Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Forklift Operator to Join Our Clients team in Orwell, OH.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00per hr BOE
Shift: 2nd 3:30pm - to finish 8-10hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport loaded materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and pallets.
- Ensure the safe and efficient stacking of products in designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory audits.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to minimize risks and accidents.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and issues.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced warehouse environment.
- May require extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
