Ensure products are properly palletized and stretch wrapped, and properly stacked in the warehouse. Maintaining safe and clean work areas. Ensure there are no unlabeled containers in work area. Supply required packaging materials for assigned production line. Prepare each morning production line - assure inventory needs for the production run. Prepare end of run - manage unused materials by properly labeling and storing for future use. Operate forklift in a safe and proper manner. Perform minimum maintenance daily on forklift and complete daily inspection log. Load/unload freight trucks on an as need basis. Handle raw materials, packaging items, and finished product to and from warehouses and production facilities safely. Monitor inventory quantities. Maintain organized warehouse when delivering finished product in accordance with warehouse managers specifications. Keep good housekeeping in work area. Ensure all containers are labeled. Be knowledgeable of the products we handle. Assist all plant personnel in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency throughout plant. Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.Education and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education 1+ year of relevant experience required. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to pass a written forklift operator examination and skill test. Ability to work flexible hours to satisfy customer requirements.Ready to make an impact with us?
