Candidate Source has an opening for experienced Forklift Operators (Sit-Down) in Chester, VA. This position is with a growing manufacturer/distributor offering 40 hours per week and weekly pay. Shift: 1st shift: Rotating days 7:00am - 7:00pm Duties/Responsibilities:
- Loading/Unloading product using both sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Secure loads to the machine before transportation.
- Managing inventory utilizing an RF Scanner.
- Pick product and wrap/secure for shipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: - Must be able to read shipping/receiving documents (BOLS, Pick Tickets, Packing Lists)
- Experience loading/unloading trucks using a sit-down forklift
- Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift
- Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Previous experience working in a distribution/warehouse environment
