**First shift M-F 7am-5pm**

****$2,000 operator sign-on****

**Denali Water Solutions (formerly New Earth)** Is looking for a forklift operator for our Katy Texas production team. The selected candidate must have a driver license and a clean MVR. Must have a minimum of one year forklift and warehouse experience. Must be able to pass the background and drug screen.

***This position is a safety sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her own safety as well as the safety of others.***

**Essential duties and responsibilities**

Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas and loading areas.

* Obtains copy of shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas at the terminal.

* Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trailer both dry vans and flatbeds

* Moving goods packed on pallets around the production area, storage area and dock.

* Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions

* Checking loads are secure.

* Performing daily equipment checks Forklift equipment.

* Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.

* Load and unload trucks

* Move and stack materials.

* Keep production lines supplied with empty pallets and remove loaded pallets as needed.

* General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned.

* Good warehousing practice

* Receive/ship process shipments.

* Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures.

**Qualification requirements:**

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.

* High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.

* Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.

* Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.

* Maintain a clean & safe environment.

* Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operators license may be required.

* Forklift certification

* Previous experience in a Forklift operation moving pallets quickly and efficiently.

* Previous transportation experience loading several trucks per day.

**Physical demands and abilities**

* Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck (forklift)

* Frequently lift 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.

* Having a good sense of balance

* Having good eye-hand-foot coordination

* Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.

* Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.

* Ability to work indoors / outdoors at all time.

**Job** Type: Full-time

**Pay:** Hourly; to be determined.

Schedule:

* 10-hour shift
