About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including electric pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, and clamp trucks, to move and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification
- At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RF scanners and order picking systems
- Experience operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
Skills: As a Forklift Operator, you will use your skills in forklift operation, order picking, and the use of RF scanners on a daily basis. You will also need to have strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods. Additionally, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals while adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines. - Many of our positions work on average 15 days/month, based on 2-2-3 schedule; however, we have a variety of work schedules dependent on position and/or department.
