**Job Summary**
Primary duties include removing product from production line and placing it in the yard, locating and loading merchandise for customers and Amcon trucks after being checked for accuracy.
* Monitor production line unload as needed. Notify block plant of quality issues or problems regarding block.
* Place block in yard in appropriate location, maintaining orderly rows and stacks.
* Perform yard clean-up, condensing cubes, picking up plastic and other debris, including regular yard maintenance.
* Locate ordered merchandise in yard.
* Correctly fill orders by staging and/or loading the appropriate trucks.
* Ensure accuracy by double-checking all loads.
* Fuel and complete safety/mechanical check on forklift / loader at beginning of each shift.
* Work hours may be reduced during winter months as seasonal business may affect production.
**Minimum Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form.
* Basic adding, subtracting and multiplication skills.
**Physical Demands**
* Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, climb and lift blocks and heavy bag products weighing up to 80 pounds.
* The yard environment can be dusty, slippery and noisy.
