**Forklift Operator**

Welcome to Manthei Veneer . We are an energetic, results-oriented, fun-loving, collaborative, humble, and passionate group of people that enjoy making a difference within the hardwood veneer and plywood industry. We have a hardwood face veneer division, a specialty plywood division, and a retail wood products division.
We are currently searching for a Forklift Operator . In this position, you will be running industrial forklifts to control the flow of raw and finished materials to and from the manufacturing lines in order to ensure that the production process is maximized. This means that you will be responsible for ensuring that the production line always has raw materials in front of it, that the finished product at the end of the line is removed safely and quickly so as not to slow down production, and that all inventory is organized to maximize efficiency.
The work environment is fast-paced and over time a high level of expertise can be developed along with the ability to spot and correct errors. Ideal candidates will have a strong sense of safety and the ability to perform all tasks in a safe , proficient manner , while understanding the importance of delivering a high quality, finished product .

Duties :
* Operate forklifts in a safe and responsible manner that abides by all company procedures and OSHA standards
* Maintain equipment through daily inspections and cleanliness
* Load/unload production lines and machines
* Transport and stack pallets
* Inspect finished products for quality related issues
* Package, label, and transport finished products
* Learn and perform other production related duties as needed
To be truly successful in this role, youll need to be reliable and punctual, be respectful and communicate well with other team members, and have a positive, winning attitude.
Qualifications :
* Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Preferred experience of 2 years forklift driving
