Job Overview: As a Forklift Operator, you will ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials within our facility. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load and unload materials, products, and equipment.
- Move items to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
- Perform pre-start checks of forklifts and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all materials are properly stored.
- Follow established procedures for documenting and handling inventory.
- Stack and arrange products and materials according to company standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
You'll Be A Great Fit If You Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift operator's license/certification.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of proper forklift handling techniques, including load capacity calculation and stability principles.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
