Southern Indiana Division will be paying a **$2000** sign on bonus to new employees that meet the eligibility requirements.
To be eligible, you must:
1) Have been hired and onboarded by OmniSource Southern Indiana Division on or between September 1, 2021, and November 30, 2021
2) Be an hourly operations or hourly transportation employee,
4) Be on the OmniSource Southern Indiana Division payroll at the time of each payment.
5) $1000 will be paid after 90 days of employment and an additional $1000
**Position:** Forklift Operator
**Brief Description:** Operate forklift to move material in a safe manner at all times.
**Position Responsibilities:**
Operate the forklift and skid steer to move materials throughout the yards as directed.
Sort and grade incoming metals
Complete daily housekeeping of work areas and assist with the functions of the baler as directed.
All other duties as assigned.
**Experience/Requirements:**
Must have previous forklift experience.
A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more as needed.
Self-motivated team player with excellent attendance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
