2nd shift from 12h30 to 9pm The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to fill. Essential Job Functions: 1. Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate areas. 2. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. 3. Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift. 4. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed safety policies. 5. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. 6. Efficiently move product from staging and /or staging areas into trailers. 7. Ensure proper stock rotation and keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. 8. Assist in physical inventories. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years previous related experience. Forklift experience Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Must be able to read and write in English. Must be able to perform basic mathematical operations. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 4 hours a day before a break period. Why work for us:
