Job Description:
Staffmark is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator to work for our manufacturing client in Houston, TX, Toshiba America, Inc. You will be an essential part of the production team by ensuring efficient and organized material handling and accurate product distribution. If you have at least one year of sit-down/stand-up forklift experience within a warehouse setting, you are the candidate we have been looking for!Pay: $18.64/hr2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PMEssential Functions:
  • Interpret work orders or oral instructions to determine the materials required.
  • Handle, load, unload, and transport materials to designated areas.
  • Count, weigh, and record the number of units moved or handled.
  • Attach identifying tag/label or mark cases, bales, or containers.
  • Responsible for the care of forklift and equipment (laptop) if provided.

  • At least one year of reach and sit-down forklift experience.
  • Experience with EBS system (Oracle experience is a plus).
  • Reliable with strong analytical and time management skills.
  • Able to safely operate a forklift within tight spaces and frequently lift 40 pounds.
