Move Mountains at Iron Mountain Join our team as a Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in our operations! You will safely operate industrial equipment, including sit down forklifts, to expertly load and unload trailers, weigh, and transfer pre-processed and finished inventory using advanced scanners and tablets. Responsibilities: - Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring seamless internal transport of materials.
- Conduct daily inspections to maintain equipment safety and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
- Identify hazardous materials and manage their handling according to safety protocols.
- Promote a culture of safety and cost savings by proactively addressing concerns and conducting inventory checks, including sorting electronic devices.
Requirements: - Minimum of 6 months of relevant equipment operating experience
- Proficient in using internal inventory systems and understanding designated warehouse areas.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as required. Ability to stand and bend repeatedly during shifts.
- Able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug screen)
Iron Mountain's Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) business is responsible for the deployment, management, and ultimate decommissioning and disposition of technology assets.
