This position pays $1.25 per hour as a shift differential for every hour worked.You must submit a resume to be considered for this position.As a Forklift/Clamp Truck Operator, you will work in a fast paced, high-speed environment while following standardized work and adhering to safe work practices in a continuous improvement organization.Your responsibilities will includeSafe driving of one or more Powered Industrialized Trucks (PIT)Utilize scanner/manual material moves in SAP to move inventory from trailers and suspense locationsUtilize SAP to look up pasts in controlled warehouseDeliver parts to production line in a timely manner while maintaining the delivery standardsEnsure 5S standards are complied with by storing materials in its proper placeParticipate in suspense location audits and bin auditsCall in and out trailers in the Yard Management SystemSet dock plates and lock in trailers on a regular basisAssist in root-cause analysis of inventory discrepanciesMinimum requirementsAbility to obtain fork truck license (requires valid state-issued driver's license)Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, including from floor levelMust be able to communicate and receive communications regarding safety components and job instructionEffectively communicate in a team-based environmentCapable of following standard work and job proceduresMust be able to work OT hours as needed to support production requirementsRead and understand a pick listGet on and off PIT equipmentPreferred skills and experiencesSafe driving of one or more Powered Industrialized Trucks (PIT)Utilize SAP for material flowUnderstanding of parts genealogyUsage of scan gun to track inventory accuracyVersatility to work multiple platformsWork is performed in a controlled-air, manufacturing environment.
