Job Description:
Job Overview: As a Forklift Operator you play a key role in our ability to move raw materials and finished goods to their designated areas. This position is important, as you will be directly involved in the organization and efficiency of our ability to deliver our products to our customers. Your days will be spent safely and cautiously driving and operating a forklift as you handle materials.Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading goods from trucks
  • Moving goods and materials to and from designated areas in the facility
  • Moving goods packed on pallets around the facility.
  • Checking loads are secure.
  • Stacking Empty Pallets and maintaining organization and cleanliness of work area
  • Assemble orders and prepare products for shipment.
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift's battery and checking lift controls.
  • Follow directions from team leads, supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, have great attendance and give it your all every day.

Essential Functions:
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others.
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus.
  • Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times and may have to work with chemicals.
  • Skill and ability of working with your hands, manual tools (must provide your own) and other instruments.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times.
  • Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
