RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ship & receive all incoming and outgoing freight correctly and in a timely manner. Fill out a daily forklift inspection report. Cater to all of the production needs.
- Log all information onto the Carrier Inspection Report & Shipping & Receiving Record daily, completely, and correctly. Place a placard onto each pallet received daily.
- Make sure that you print out and match the driver's p.o. number with the Straight Bill of Lading and Purchase order number before loading or unloading freight.
- Operate forklift in a safe manner and FIFO daily. First in first out! Use the computer to check Res-Report and print shipping pick tickets for all shipments.
- Re-coupe all areas daily. Ensure that products shipped out and received are not damaged or torn. Count inventory daily, weekly, and at the end of the year as needed. Check water levels on all batteries weekly.
- Keep the work area clean, and sanitized, and make sure that trash is taken out before shift change. Report all damages that occur immediately to your Shipping Manager/Shipping Supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Must have basic math and reading skills
- Must be able to identify differences in colors
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and must have good solid back and knees with full mobility.
