The position: The Former Resident Care Associate contributes to the success of the organization by managing the communication and collection process for former residents, ensuring accurate final accounting, timely communication, and high-level customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining incoming calls on?a high-volume phone line.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
  • Promptly responds to all former resident concerns and inquiries about final move-out charges.
  • Maintains accurate, detailed records of account communications in necessary platforms.
  • Manage former resident collections, including communication, payment, and documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain collection accounts and payment plans.
  • Resolve customer billing questions and issues.
  • Communicates with the onsite team to gather additional information, answer questions, and ensure accurate charge assessment.
  • Provides high-quality customer service and support through appropriate, professional, and timely communication when working with operations teams, residents, and other RPM teams
  • Maintains integrity of accounts and relationships by keeping information confidential.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Basic bookkeeping/ledger skills desired
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Robust collection and delinquency management knowledge.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.

Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possessing a valid drivers license.
