About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Anon, you'll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success to drive technical implementations for our most strategic enterprise clients. This hybrid role combines hands-on development with customer partnership and technical leadership, giving you broad impact across the organization. You'll collaborate directly with customers and internal teams to scope, build, and deploy solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible with AI agent authentication.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Implementation & Customer Partnership
- Lead technical discovery and implementation projects with enterprise customers
- Build and deploy custom integrations and solutions for specific customer needs
- Serve as the technical lead for strategic customer relationships
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and solutions
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations and technical demonstrations
Product & Engineering Impact
- Work with the engineering team to improve product based on customer feedback
- Identify and develop reusable solutions that can benefit multiple customers
- Contribute to platform architecture and design decisions
- Create technical documentation and implementation guides
- Build example applications and integration demos
Cross-functional Leadership
- Bridge communication between customers, engineering, and product teams
- Lead technical training sessions and provide implementation guidance
- Influence product roadmap through customer insights and field experience
- Create technical content including documentation, tutorials, and best practices
What We're Looking ForTechnical Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience for Standard role; 5-8+ years for Senior role
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and at least one backend language (Rust, Go)
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Track record of shipping complex technical products end-to-end
- Familiarity with authentication systems and API design
- Experience with browser automation tools is a plus
Customer & Product Acumen
- Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and translate them to technical solutions
- Experience leading technical discovery and implementation projects
- Strong product intuition and ability to balance technical trade-offs with customer impact
