The Foster Care Case Manager collaborates with DCFS to provide appropriate casework services to individuals and families in the Foster Care program including case management and adherence to licensing requirements. Remote work options are available after training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.
* Places and supervises children in foster care in compliance with contract/program plan requirements.
* Maintains and monitors appropriate placements ensuring safety, permanency and well-being objectives are met. Documentation and required visits are completed within required timeframes
* Completes all referral forms and other documentation necessary for the effective, efficient, achievement of the permanency goal by established timeframes
* Completes all Caritas paperwork and complies with program expectations as related to the position.
* Establish a therapeutic alliance and engage families, caregivers, and other service providers in the treatment process.
* Utilize and coordinate appropriate agency and community resources to meet the needs of those served.
Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related human services field. 2 years' experience needed for Specialized Case Work. Previous Case Manager Experience preferred
