Please follow this link for a closer look at what it's like to work at Children's Wisconsin: Foster Home Recruiter & Licensor, Social Work -Eau Claire Office, Part-time role available **** Are you looking for additional income, a second job and have a passion to work with children and families?** Do you want to maintain your social work skills, while still having work/life balance?** If so, this position can offer you the flexibility in scheduling you might be looking for!Ideal candidate would commit to a minimum of 10 -15 hours per week; flexible part-time hours. Some of the hours can be worked during the day, first shift and some of the work can be done in the evening based on the needs of the families. Leaders are open to discuss the options for the work hours to fit the candidates scheduling needs.The position will mainly support the Treatment Foster Care (TFC) program, with recruitment of foster families and licensing new foster homes - educating and guiding prospective foster families through initial application activities. The ideal candidate will develop and facilitate community presentations, collaborate/coordinate with partner, community and professional organizations to attract and engage prospective foster families.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, or related field required; Or, Master's Degree in Social Work, or related field preferred.
- Child Welfare, Foster Care Licensing and/or Adoption experience preferred.
- This position generally involves duties in licensing foster homes, and as such may require the applicant to hold or be eligible for a Social Work, or related, license or certificate.
- Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Requires a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, minimum liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the CHHS auto insurance carrier.
