No matter where you want to go in your career, you can get there from here!Position Title Foundation Associate FLSA Exempt FT/PT Full Time Hours Per Week 37.5 Work Schedule M-F 8:30-5 Grade 9 Minimum Compensation $41,628 General ResponsibilitiesTo provide full-performance administrative support work for the development office and the foundation, by ensuring the overall organization and efficiency in these areas. Work is subject to general supervision and is reviewed for technical correctness and compatibility with area policies.Work PerformedResponsible for administrative support for the development office and its directors.With input from the directors creates board materials; attends meetings; records and produces official meeting minutes for the foundation board and any other assigned committees (as needed); and posts on the portal.Schedules appointments for the executive director, director of resource development with board members and donors. Provides the executive director with necessary meeting materials and post meeting follow up for meetings.Assists in researching and providing executive director and director of resource development with essential data related to identified organizations and individuals.Coordinates the workflow for the foundation, which may include planning, delegating, and reviewing the work of other clerical employees and/or student workersAssists with administrative details of carrying out special events as assigned, including set up for events and monitoring ongoing needs to ensure the success of the eventsPerforms highly skilled tasks within Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Publisher and associated programs to draft, edit, review and prepare correspondence, reports, memos, proposals, grants, forms and other related development documentsPrepares outgoing mailings for development team with the assistance of other team membersDevelops and maintains paper and electronic file management for all relevant information such as correspondence and reportsGreets and interacts with students, faculty, other college employees and visitors to answer questions and provide informationUpdates and maintains electronic distribution listsAnswers phones and emails and responds to inquiries and/or directs them to appropriate source for resolutionWorks closely with the information services staff on requests for computer-generated personnel and student dataPrioritizes multiple project assignments, requiring a high degree of accuracy and efficiencyEvaluates administrative processes and suggests most effective use of available technology to promote increased productivity in the development officeContinually updates skills for increased proficiency on the computer and various software packagesSets up appropriate computer directories, files, and systems as necessaryImplements and manages regular backup systems for office filesActs as backup for other employees in the work group as required and performs related duties as requiredOther duties as assignedMinimum Education Required Associate's degree Minimum Number of Years Experience Required 1 Other Knowledge RequiredExpertise with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and apply new software quicklyExperience in work coordination and managementAbility to operate routine office equipmentAbility to assist in the training of personnel in use of computer systemsAbility to learn and apply new office proceduresAbility to use own initiative to locate and resolve issuesAbility to interact effectively with others to determine needs and resolve conflictsAbility to work effectively with others in a work group environmentAbility to effectively edit own work before typing and to proofreadKnowledge of proper business English, grammar, spelling and typing formatsOTHER REQUIREMENTSOvertime may be required during peak periods, and to staff special eventsPleasant and assured telephone mannerRegular attendance is a requirement of this jobAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the development office confidentiality and conflict of interest policyAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingPerforms all duties while considering the impact of any actions on the college's sustainability initiatives in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity.Working ConditionsOffice environmentSupervisory Postion?
