Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced philanthropy communication strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of philanthropy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling. They will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the TGH Foundation's brand and visibility, as well as engaging donors, and advancing our mission through appropriate branding strategies.
Functions:
* Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey the impact and importance of our philanthropic partners and programs.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, program managers, and development teams, to identify key messaging priorities and align communication efforts with organizational priorities.
* Create compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, and newsletters, that effectively communicates our mission, values, and impact to various audiences.
* Oversee the design and production of marketing materials and Foundation collateral, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
* Manage Foundation webpage, and Foundation and executive leadership daily social media presence.
* Design and work with vendors to order Foundation giveaways and donor materials. Design and manage refreshment of all donor-facing templates, including proposals, receipts, impact reports, etc.
* Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or other related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic communication, preferably in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector.
* Demonstrated expertise in crafting compelling narratives and messaging that resonate with diverse audiences.
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Experience managing communication projects from conception to completion, meeting deadlines and budget.
* Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, including social media management , email marketing, and graphic design.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving results through innovative communication strategies.
