Their innovative platform enables a feedback loop for improving production data, creating smarter, faster, and more cost-effective models. By unifying inference, observability, optimization, and experimentation, they empower cutting-edge workflows for complex multi-step LLM applications—all while maintaining blazing-fast performance.

THE ROLE – FOUNDING BACKEND ENGINEER

As the Founding Backend Engineer, you'll build and scale the backend architecture from the ground up, focusing on performance, scalability, and integrations. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop backend systems and APIs in Rust to support high-performance, large-scale LLM workflows.
• Architect and implement robust systems for inference, observability, optimization, and experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with the cofounders to solve complex AI-driven backend challenges.
• Develop innovative solutions for processing and managing massive datasets efficiently.
• Work with frontend and product teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience designing and implementing backend systems from the ground up (0-1).
• Expertise in Rust for backend development.
• Strong understanding of building scalable, high-performance systems for data-intensive applications.
• Experience in startup environments is highly preferred.
• Contributions to open-source projects are a major plus.
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and workflows is a bonus.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud architectures.

BENEFITS

This role offers a competitive base salary of $200,000 - $250,000, alongside significant equity.
