Order#: NY1515186Foundry LaborerPosition Summary: The Foundry Laborer position will be responsible for performing and assisting with all foundry processes including mold, assembly, pour, break out, cut off and wash according to the supplied job router. Responsible for ensuring that production requirements are met. Position reports to the Foundry Group Leader and/or Foundry Supervisor Essential Functions: -Mix plaster/sand according to router information -Prepare patterns and pour molds -Systematically load ovens for optimum performance -Assemble molds and pour castings according to router information -Perform break out, cut off and wash of castings -Document results on daily log for traceability -Responsible for meeting production requirements -Work with travelers and routing information specific to jobs -Enter job time and part quantities into E2 shop system software -Report problems, work load and requirements to achieve tasks to dept. group leader -Observe and follow all safety regulations -Acquire and retain knowledge of current shop software (E-2) and the K&H Quality Statement and the Quality Management System )
