Our Foundry Utility employees are responsible for all things production. That includes working with our disas sand molding machines and furnaces to support the melt, mold, and/or pour steps in our manufacturing process. The reward? Making cast iron cookware that's loved all over the world! If you're a jack of all trades who can handle challenges of production work, you'll be a welcome addition to our team. Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and bring our safety culture to everything you do, maintaining a work environment that's safe for everyone
  • Give breaks and fill in for Disa and Furnace crew members
  • Operate forklifts and other small equipment, such as Daewoo, Bobcat and Walden
  • Transfer iron from the melt furnace to the autopour by way of electric hoist and remove slag from ladle
  • Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance as required
  • Cleanup throughout the plant, including shoveling sand and cast media
  • Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with the 5L guidelines
  • Flexibility to move positions to meet current production demands
  • Assist with or perform all other job related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years related experience or training
  • Working knowledge of PC and Windows-based software
  • Existing mathematical and mechanical skills
  • Ability to learn maintenance software
  • Forklift license (obtained during training period)
  • Bobcat and Walden experience, preferred
  • Small hand tool knowledge
