This role involves preparing financial reports, conducting analysis, and developing financial models to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:* Maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.* Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management.* Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data.* Analyze cost data to understand product profitability.* Support Marketing in customer spend analysis.* Support Fulfillment in inventory valuation and inventory optimization.* Identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable recommendations.* Support the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasts.* Assist in the preparation of presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.* Support Controller in continuously improving financial processes and systems.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.* 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.* Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software (NetSuite a plus).* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.The Woodland Direct team is passionate about all things fire and are focused on transforming the customer experience through technology and innovation.
