Sr Engineer - Digital Design Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and optimization of digital circuits using VHDL.
- Create and execute test plans, perform simulations, and validate designs.
- Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and software developers.
- Diagnose and resolve digital design issues, including FPGA and software interactions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of design processes.
- Develop plans and schedules for product development.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
- Research and implement new methods and technologies to improve product quality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 3-15 years of experience in digital design, including FPGA projects.
- Proficient in VHDL and FPGA design tools (Xilinx, Altera).
- Experience with network protocols (PCIE, 1G/10G Ethernet, TSN).
- Strong understanding of FPGA architectures and digital design principles.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with DO-254 certification process.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with Verilog and UVM.
- Familiarity with embedded software designs using C/C++.
