A Well-Known Gifting Company in Jericho, Long Island NY is looking for a Freelance Floral Stylist to join the team. They are looking for a high-performing individual to support their team on an as needed basis ASAP through August.
Responsibilities:
- Order florals for upcoming shoots
- Review and approve floral once delivered by partner with Product Development
- Be responsible for the care and conditioning of flowers
- Prepare for photo shoots by meeting with the on-set art director, studio manager, and photographer
- Create and style floral and fruit bouquet arrangements to camera
- Ensure consistent and high-quality floral/fruit bouquet output by giving and receiving constructive criticism in a positive and open manner
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of floral design experience backed by a fundamental understanding of good floral design and composition.
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent time management skills
- Punctual & responsible
- Committed to being organized and clean with regards to design floor, coolers, and facilities
- Flourishes working in a team environment
- Experience in floral styling/design is required
- Experience styling on set to camera is preferred but not required
