Freelance Graphic Designer - Apparel Brand Duration: 6-9 month contract Schedule: 40 hours/ week Hybrid Remote/ On Site in NYC - 3 days/ week Pay: 30/hr GRAPHIC DESIGNER OVERVIEW: You will be responsible for updating seasonal style guides, window installation and production guides. Responsibilities include updating and maintaining guides that outline overall seasonal concepts as well as designing conceptual channel-specific layouts for International marketing initiatives such as regional specific holidays & global milestones.This position will support International markets. Collaborate with our cross functional partners in Marketing, Product Design, & Visual Merchandising on all assets, ensure brief requests and deadlines are met and fulfilled fully. You should have an understanding of International holidays, cultures and markets, as well as the ability to do some basic research when needed. GRAPHIC DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES: • Continue to update and release seasonal style guides, window installation, and production guides. • Develop creative concepts & art files in close partnership with copy and marketing. • You will partner with the Associate Manager- Graphic Design to create High-level style guides You will be responsible for working files, release-ready files & templates for window concepts , interior signage layouts , OOH, and seasonal activation concepts • Research current design and graphic trends in art and design, fashion, retail and marketing. • Assemble guides for all seasonal store rollouts which include windows and/or store proppingelements • Release seasonal print production files GRAPHIC DESIGNER QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field • 3-6 years' experience working in a retail or agency environment (or equivalent experience and abilities) • Knowledge of print production and pre-press process preferred • Expert level of knowledge in Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) • Proficiency in Google Workspace • Knowledge of global fashion and pop culture lexicons.
