ABC News is seeking a Daily Hire Motion Graphic Artist to join our creative team. Applicants must be highly creative, innovative, extremely motivated, organized and able to handle creative pressures under crushing deadlines. The successful candidate is able to work well in a team and with a wide range of people and take creative direction from an Art Director or the Creative Director. On some occasions Artists work independently as the situation demands. If the role becomes available, you may receive an email or call from a recruiter.Responsibilities :Conceptualize and design animations, full screens and other templates and digital assets for our ABC News shows and platformsManage quick turnaround of graphics assetsWork with editorial teams under tight deadlines conceptualizing and executing design elementsBasic Qualifications :Minimum 3 years experience designing digital elements and/or broadcast graphicsExperience designing graphics and animations for multiple platformsExpert level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and 2D technologies and/or Vizrt Viz Artist Real-Time graphics design tool and/or Ross XPression Real-Time design tool.Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidaysPreferred Qualifications :Experience in deadline-driven broadcast environmentKnowledge of 3D software C4D, Maya, XPression, Viz, Viz World MapsRequired Education :Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.The pay rate for this role in New York is $480 per 8 hour day ($60/hr).
