Most well-known for reimagining the fabric, fit, and function of underwear and undershirts, Tommy John has spent the past decade making the online and in-store shopping experience more comfortable. We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Freelance UX Designerto support our Site team on a project.Project Duration:
- July 8th, 2024 through October 1st, 2024
- July: 20 Hours per week
- August & September: 40 Hours per week
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, developers, and designers to drive design features from concept to launch
- Develop user flows, journey maps, diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs
- Effectively communicate designs through prototypes, documentation, and presentations
- Integrate interaction design and visual design within a multidisciplinary team
- Champion the customer and adhere to user-centered design principles
- Refine design solutions based on stakeholder and user feedback
- Manage and uphold our design system library
- Execute test plans to ensure mobile app functionality and usability
- Identify, document, and monitor issues related to user interfaces, responsiveness, and overall user experience
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in UX, Interaction Design, or a related field
- 5+ years of UX/UI experience in an e-commerce apparel or premium brand company; experience in graphic design/motion graphics is a bonus
- 3-5 years of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) experience
- Ability to create wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, and interactive mock-ups
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong visual and interaction design skills
- Proficiency in various design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of HTML5, JS, and CSS
- Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual, UX, and visual design with a focus on cross-device and responsive interfaces
Budget Range: $50 to $65 per hour
