Our Freight Associate (Agent) is responsible for managing the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods from one location to another. This role coordinates with carriers to ensure that shipments are delivered safely and in accordance with customer requirements. The Associates are comfortable working with a variety of customers, while also meeting the company's objectives.
Important Note: no matter how the economy is doing freight, products and items must be shipped and moved. Everything we touch, wear or eat must be shipped.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customers Acquisition
- Arrange the shipment of goods utilizing the most cost-effective and efficient methods
- Monitor the progress of shipments and key customers informed
- Respond to customer inquiries concerning delivery times, tracking information, and other questions
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be able to setup & access Transportation Management System (TMS) at Home
- Must complete Online on The Job Training
Additional Information:
- Paid Weekly on Friday
- 35% Performance Profit Pay
- Part Time and Full Time Position
- Independent Contractor (1099)
