Job Description: Freight Forwarder Sales Account Executive

Transo USA focuses on providing reliable and cost-effective international ocean freight solutions and domestic transportation importers all over the US. We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an import Specialist. Locations: Washington, DC and New Jersey Full-time position, Monday-Friday, position requiring travel nationwide. This role may require adjusted work hours / evening hours du to travels and to satisfy customers needs and position requirements.
Responsibilities: Business development: - Identify potential clients and development opportunities
- Generate leads through calls, e-mails, social media, industry publications, and other channels.
- Schedule face-to-face and virtual meeting with clients or potential customers.
Portfolio management: - Maintain a list of existing accounts and prospects, by regularly engaging with decision makers.
- Conduct frequent calls or visits to existing clients.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with individuals
- Travel around the country to build and maintain professional and personable relationship with clients and explore new markets.
Reporting: - Maintain records of all sales activities through CRM software.
- Prepare Sales reports and provide market insight to other departments
Pricing: - Understand and communicate client s needs to other departments to ensure client s satisfaction.
- Prepare quotes in accordance with the company s profit guidelines.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in sales or similar role, related with Freight Forwarding and domestic transportation.
- Knowledge of US imports regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in interacting both with clients and colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook, MS PowerPoint & MS Word)
Additional Information: - Full time position for local residents. Work visa / sponsorship is not available
